TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE IT

“I loved designing my t shirt and the paintings are really good”

Ella Morris, age 5

Limited Press Gallery launched their new education and community programme in half term with a t-shirt printing workshop in the Gallery. Artist Joe Ross worked with local children and their parents to produce designs in response to the current exhibition Eighteen by street artist ROUGH.

Limited Press are keen to develop a quality and innovative programme of work which involves people of all ages, including schools, community groups and business. Gallery director Duncan Newland commented “Street art is a medium which is culturally relevant to young people and it is a good hook to get them interested in other forms of art and culture”

Emma Coppack, head of arts at a local school, came along as a parent, said “she would love to be able to bring her students to the gallery, they would learn so much.”

Limited Press are keen to hear from community groups, schools and businesses on how they would like to come involved with the gallery. Limited Press has a large network of artists ranging from visual artists, animators, designers, sculptures and DJS.
